# How are you using DNSimple’s sandbox and API to safely automate DNS changes?

I like that DNSimple is API-first and includes a real sandbox, so I can script record changes and test them before touching production zones across multiple client domains. Having registrar, DNS, and Let’s Encrypt certificates in one account and one REST API also reduces the usual split across vendors, and makes changes like adding a subdomain feel like a config update instead of a login-and-click task. One small friction point is transferring domains out to customers, which could be smoother with an accept-link style handoff. How are others handling bulk automation, apex records (ALIAS), and domain transfer workflows?
