# How are you handling the steep learning curve without losing a week of productivity?

When I first got access to AlphaSense I was excited, then quickly realized how much time it would take before I could really trust myself to use it efficiently. There are so many views, filters, and AI tools that I regularly catch myself thinking there must be a better way to do what I am trying to do, but I do not know where it lives. Early on, I definitely lost hours just clicking around and feeling like I was “drinking from a firehose” instead of moving my projects forward. Even now, I worry I am only scratching the surface and missing ways to shorten my workflow because I never got past the initial trial‑and‑error phase. For those of you who made it through that early stage, how did you get from overwhelmed to confident without sacrificing too much of your day‑to‑day work in the process?
