# How are you handling IBM watsonx.ai UI and IAM friction for deployment spaces?

We’ve had strong results using IBM watsonx.ai’s Python SDK for direct access to Granite models and fine-tuned Llama instances, plus fast REST execution for route re-optimization hooks during peak dispatch spikes. Dynamic scaling helped us avoid maintaining idle GPU clusters and reduced idle compute costs while keeping throughput steady. The main struggle is the web UI: deployment space configuration feels buried, and IAM role setup between Cloud Object Storage and deployment spaces is rigid, leading to silent permission-related job failures. How are others streamlining deployment space setup and preventing these IAM issues from blocking jobs?
