# How are you balancing Warp’s AI terminal speed gains with credits, privacy, and customization limits?

Warp’s IDE-like terminal UI, block-based outputs, and agent integrations can cut debugging time and reduce context switching, especially for Linux DevOps workflows. At the same time, AI credits can run out fast for heavy users, memory usage is higher than iTerm2, and requiring an account plus internet can be a blocker for offline or privacy-conscious teams. Customization and notebook-centric workflows also seem to lag, and cloud agents can be tough for sensitive codebases. If you use Warp, what trade-offs have been worth it, and how are you handling credits, privacy, and workflow gaps?
