# Has anyone found a native way to automate emails from Trello without using a tool like Zapier?

We send progress emails to clients as we move their projects along in Trello from list to list or board to board. Right now we've had to use Zapier to send the emails out of Gmail, but it would be great to cut out Zapier for this function.

I'm not sure what type of automated emails you want. If you want to send updates to a team, then you can create a status card and have the team follow it. Then you can post updates to that card to have them pushed to the team members.
