# What are the hardware and software requirements to use SwipedOn?

You’ll need an iPad Air or later, running iOS 10 or later.

The following iPad models are recommended for optimal performance:
- iPad Air
- iPad Air 2
- iPad (2017)  9.7 - inch
- iPad Pro 10.5 - inch
- iPad Pro 12.9 - inch

We recommend using an iPad stand to enhance the overall SwipedOn experience. For further information, see our Hardware page on our website.

If you wish to print ID badges, you’ll require either Brother QL-820NWB, QL-810W, QL-710W or QL-720NW label printers.

The admin web dashboard will run on any internet browser, but we prefer Chrome.
