Certain gift cards have no additional fee. This includes Amazon.com and Visa cards (other than the standard Visa fees you’d pay anywhere, such as a gift card section at a grocery store).

Other gift cards, unfortunately, do carry a convenience fee. This is because we cannot get an “activation terminal” in our facility for these cards so we have to run out and buy them on your behalf, or pre-buy them at full cost and carry the inventory cost. As such, we only make a profit on these cards if we add a small fee. We feel if the value is there, people will pay for the gift card. If the value isn’t there, then they will pass.

If you don’t want to pay the convenience fee, you can purchase your own gift cards and ship them to us. We will then only charge an insertion fee of $0.20 per card. This method will save you money and you are not limited to the gift cards we offer.
