# Freshdesk: easy basics, but how do you handle pricing changes and unreliable APIs?

Freshdesk was easy to set up and get the basics running, but more complex tasks feel harder because the UX seems broken beyond simple workflows. It can be a low-cost option on the cheapest plan, but the higher tiers feel overpriced for what you get. If you use Freshdesk, how have you dealt with renewal pricing changes and API reliability?
