# FRAUD WITH PAYPAL

If you want to disadvantage a webshop, you can apparently do that.

Recently a customer of ours had an amount of money blocked (successfully) because the product we had sent had not yet received while this product was already on its way.
As an example: We sent the product ordered by the customer to the address that the customer provided, but this address did not match the address that PayPal has for this customer.

How does this work?
After the order has been placed, the product has been shipped, then you block the payment.
Then PayPal asks for proof that you send the product to the address known to them, in case the address is different then you have a problem as a webshop side.

Because in case you specify a different shipping address (for example a friend, family member etc)
Paypal will decide in favor of the customer in the event of a dispute. Because the product was not delivered to the address known to Paypal. Then Paypal also charges another 14 euros in dispute costs to the webshop.

We have now stopped using Paypal immediately, may this be a warning for other webshops.

Don't use Pay Pal!!! I've used Pay Pal for years and eventually you are going to have to deal with fraud. It's the world we live in now-a-days. Now it's happened to me. But the real problem was PayPal. I sent 3 payments to a bogus company. Two were through my credit cards, and one through a debit card. When I notified my bank about the fraud they had me send them the info and immediately recognized it as fraud. PayPal, on the other hand, doesn't have your back. I know because I am living it right now. I've sent them the bogus proposal, and the services that were supposed to be done in 5 weeks. It's been over 3 months! Not only did I show proof of this but that I didn't receive anything. Nothing!! And I even told Pay Pal one of the people inside the bogus company told me they are scamming people...and that she was leaving. She said it was a scam!!! Told Pay Pal this. With the paperwork I sent in, this was so cut and dry, it boggles the brain. Total incompetency. They denied my claim. It gets even better (Hey you just can't make this crap up.) The other 2 payments (through my bank credit cards...that were immediately paid by my bank) they tried to deny too. There's something going on here. Much deeper. SO PLEASE BEWARE! I will never...ever...use Pay Pal again. No one should. Fraud is huge in today’s world, and when you need them to have your back...They don't. I even tried to talk to the maroons at the resolution center directly. But they wouldn't let me. Even a manager.
