# First time user and I have a charge on my credit card but no food

I’m visiting the city and I’ve never used any of the delivery apps. So I placed an order, a charge is pending on my credit card and after almost 2 hours I called the restaurant to ensure they got my order and they said they never did and it’s my problem to figure out how to get my money back . And now it’s almost 11 PM and I’m starving. How do I get my money back?

Hi Luana! Thank you for reaching out to us!

I am so sorry to hear about your subpar experience with this delivery order. As a commission-free platform, we pride ourselves on being a better ordering partner for local restaurants but also providing seamless service for their diners. I do apologize that we missed the mark here.

I was able to find your order and it does look like there was a connection issue with the order being sent through to the restaurant; our team attempted to reach them, but we were unsuccessful in doing so. This order was marked as canceled, which means the funds have been sent back to your account and an email notifying you of the cancellation was sent to the address on file, but please reach out to our support team if for some reason you are seeing that is not the case.

Our team is available 24/7, you can call or text us at 888-707-2469 or reach us at support@chownow.com. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions at all!
