# Export functionality of Informatica PIM

Hi, Can anyone please tell me how to pass variables in the post processing step of any Export template?
Variables are visible in the dropdown but their values cannot be passed dynamically to any command file for further processing.

Greetings Mate,

Muchas Gracias Mi Amigo! You make learning so effortless. Anyone can follow you and I would not mind following you to the moon coz I know you are like my north star.

I came across your problem this was the first solution hits my mind.

Set Lookup cache size based on 3 million records as <a href="https://medium.com/@infamdm02/100-free-informatica-pim-training-the-best-informatica-product-360-tutorial-you-need-796be2816d68"> Nico suggested. </a>
Hold your source data (2 Million in a stage table) in same db. modify lookup query to validate Exists on stage table

select col1, col2, col3 from Target where exists (select 'X' from source_stage where target.col1=source_stage.col1) and ...........

That will limit your cache size to max 2-3 Million. Rest of logic you can hold as it is.

Appreciate your effort for making such useful blogs and helping the community.

Shukran,
Sanjay
