Most eProcurement solutions serve as a 'launch off point' to buy goods / services. These eProcurement systems leverage Punchout technology to enable connectivity between the eProcurement system and the leading eCommerce platforms (I.e. Amazon Business, Staples.com, Dell.com, OfficeDepot.com, Grainger.com, etc). In doing so, over 95% of content enabled in typical eProcurement solutions is stored outside of the eProcurement platform. This approach of enabling 95% of contracted items via PunchOut catalogs creates a splintered and disjointed buying experience for the end user. B2C eCommerce doesn't work like this. BuyerQuest doesn't think B2B ecommerce should work like this either. That's why Buyerquest took a fundamentally different approach to architecting and building the ONLY eProcurement solution that allows for ALL goods and services to be enabled and governed within a single marketplace.
