# Ennote Security in Kubernetes: smooth setup, but how are you handling legacy apps and logging?

Ennote Security has been surprisingly low-friction for us as a secret manager, especially with the Kubernetes integration being close to plug-and-play and quick to configure. It helps keep developer velocity up while still enforcing centralized secrets, and it reduces the risk of credentials getting hardcoded into git. The main friction has been integrating older, non-containerized legacy apps, plus wanting more robust, plug-and-play event logging integrations beyond alerts and notifications. How are others bridging the gap for legacy workloads and getting detailed logs into centralized dashboards or SIEMs?
