# Domain authority in SpyGlass

Hi,
I usually chose the websites from which I want to get a link by their Moz DA.
However, in many case your Domain InLink Rank does not agree with Moz. Sometimes Moz ranks 20+DA while Domain InLink Rank is just 1.
I'm confused because I don't know who to believe. On one hand I trust your ranking and I know that you carefully check many criteria but yet it's Moz and they get a different results in many cases.
I'll appreciate if you can explain the difference between you and Moz and how I can use both ranks to decide.

Hi Zohar,

Different SEO tools providers can show different values, this is a common thing. This is because we all have slightly different formulas (giving different importance to, say, internal links). Nobody knows for sure the formula Google uses, so each of the software providers makes their best guess. 

We've run an experiment to see how well InLink rank correlates with websites' rankings and has found that it shows the closest correlation with rankings - https://www.link-assistant.com/news/inlink-rank-correlation.html 

Though the difference is very slight, as you can see:)

Just to add, I have double-checked the numbers between this tool, Moz, Ahrefs, Sistrix and Magestic. They all seem to be around the same numbers. I tend to go with SEO Power Tools more than the others. ;)
