Does WorkJam replace our scheduling and HR systems, or work with them?

WorkJam works with them. WorkJam is not an HRIS or payroll system, and for companies that already run a workforce management (WFM) system, WorkJam connects to it rather than replacing it. WorkJam integrates with UKG Pro Workforce Management, ADP, Blue Yonder and Legion.

Scheduling: your WFM system still builds the schedule and holds the labor rules. In WorkJam, employees see their schedule, swap shifts, pick up open shifts and request time off from one mobile app, and those changes sync back to the WFM system.

HR: employee data from the HRIS, such as role, location and department, determines which communications and Knowledge Center content each employee sees, so audiences stay current as HR records change.

What WorkJam does replace is the patchwork around those systems: group chat apps, paper task lists, bulletin boards and standalone audit checklists. WorkJam can also run inside Microsoft Teams for companies that want Teams as the front door.
