In India, using PayPal Credit does not help build your credit score the way traditional credit products do here. Most everyday PayPal purchases or buy‑now‑pay‑later plans like “Pay in 4” are not reported to Indian credit bureaus (like CIBIL, Experian, CRIF High Mark, etc.), so on‑time payments don’t contribute to your credit history or score.

Because a hard check can, as was already said, actually damage your credit score, PayPal Credit does not help with credit building. Learn how to raise your credit score by looking through the advice provided below. I should also add out that because of my US zip code, I was able to buy a $750 PayPal gift card :
