# Does Kisi support mobile access and smartphone credentials?

We're trying to move away from physical badges. Can employees and visitors unlock doors using their phones, and what mobile credential options does Kisi support?

Yes. Mobile access is one of Kisi's core capabilities.
Authorized users can unlock doors using the Kisi mobile app on iPhone or Android devices. Depending on your setup, users can tap their phone against a Kisi Reader Pro for contactless entry, unlock doors with MotionSense by simply waving their phone near the reader, use QR codes or barcodes where supported, or access doors using employee badges stored in Apple Wallet.
Kisi also supports traditional physical credentials, including access cards, fobs, and stickers, giving organizations the flexibility to choose the access methods that best fit their security and operational needs.
