# Does it work with custom fields?

Can this tool work with custom Salesforce fields and custom objects, or only the standard Salesforce address fields?

Geopointe works against any object as all objects are treated equally. In getting setup, you will specify where your location information resides and Geopointe will prepare it (geocoding) for mapping. This all takes ~10 minutes to complete and you are ready to map. 

Geopointe is free to try, so go ahead and install it and see for yourself. From the point of clicking "Get It Now" on AppExchange, you should be seeing things on the map in ~20 minutes.
