# Does anyone of you have used API of Google Trends, if yes then how and what's special about it?

If anyone of you have used Google Trends API then tell me how it's different from GUI version of google trends. What are the perks of using API for third party software instead of using it's own panel.

<p>Google never released a public API for Trends. There’s only the web interface.But developers still use Google Trends programmatically through <strong>unofficial libraries</strong>.</p>
