# Does anyone have a standard way to get around the channel-list permanent association

I use another software as my CRM and ReadyMode just for dialing. In this set up my lists are filtered outside and just sent to ReadyMode for dialing so I rely heavily on the channels to upload prospect data. Lists seem to be permanently associated with a specific channel at the time of creation so my workaround is to create more channels, but old channels cannot be deleted so it gets cluttered. Does anyone have a more efficient method to handle this scenario?

Thank you for your question. There are multiple ways you can use the channel lists that may vary depending on your intended use. Please reach out to support@readymode.com for help with your particular situation.

I already did a couple months ago and had great feedback from a knowledgeable technical guy so that's appreciated. Actually it was from him that I learned that the list is permanently linked to the channel. I my particular situation I need to be able to: 1) Send data to channel X; 2) Make the calls (call results are automatically updated on the CRM via Zapier), 3) After several rounds, clean up all the leads from the list linked to the channel (cannot delete the list because then the channel becomes useless); 4) Repeat from step 1.
