# DocuClipper billing surprise: easy signup, but did you feel locked into a plan?

DocuClipper made it easy to join and commit to payment, but I felt trapped in a plan I did not intend and then saw a large charge without any prior invoice. Customer service also seemed to sidestep the issue rather than address the contract concern. It ended up draining time and money, and pushed me to consider lower-cost AI options instead. Has anyone else run into unexpected charges or plan confusion, and how did you resolve it?
