# Do I have to approve other users’ access requests? When and how?

Access requests, which may be generated by automated processes or by requests entered by other users, may require approval before it is business-appropriate to complete them. If you are invited to approve a request, you will receive an e-mail notification. Click the link in the e-mail and approve, reject or delegate the request. You can also use the Hitachi ID Mobile Access smart phone app to sign into Hitachi ID Identity Manager and perform the same actions. Read more here: https://hitachi-id.com
