# DNS Issues

It seems Goverlan sometimes shows Computers and Even users not available even though they logged in and their system is on. Usually a reboot will show it back online, but sometimes that does not work. Goverlan Server services are running and good so unsure what issue is.

The Goverlan desktop management console relies upon the name resolution of the workstation you're using it from. If the local DNS cache is not up to date, you won't see the active workstation. Does the user login register properly with the Reach Server? You do have the Goverlan server defined in your DNS, correct?
