# Deleted Authorized Signing User

We deleted an authorized user who signed off on minutes no longer on the board. When we deleted him, all of his signatures were removed from the documents he signed. Is there a setting that we need to adjust? Or is this a software error?

I think you would have just been able to deactivate the user to remove their access and that way the signatures would have stayed on the documents.
