When leveraging the IBM CPQ solution via a CRM, do approvers or quote support staff need to have a CRM license to access the quote? Quoting support staff (engineering, approvers, SME's, etc.) need access to the quoting solution but not the CRM.
IBM's CPQ solution is loosely coupled to CRM solutions (with SSO). All capabilities can be leveraged through the CRM platform or the out-of-the-box user interface packaged with the solution (bypassing the CRM UI). The data synchronization processes will ensure the two applications are always updated both directions.
