Hi, it works as a debit card. You transfer the amount you want it to have  from your bank account to it.

The Bento for Business Card is a Visa® business debit card, which you can use at any establishment that accepts Visa® debit cards. The Bento virtual card can be used online and over the phone where Visa® debit cards are accepted.

Bento is a credit card alternative that you can use as a credit card at the point of sale. If a merchant asks “credit or debit?” it’s okay to say credit, and because it is a business debit card there’s no credit risk since the card is funded with cash from your bank account. Bento does not extend credit and is not a credit card.
