# Could FreshStatus fusion FreshPing?

Freshworks offers a different product/software in their suite which demonstrates different aspects of your site being up. Which is also very useful, and can be easily branded and personalized. Why so similar products compete to each other instead of being an integration of the same?

Hi Eduardo,

Thank you for asking this question and your support to Freshworks. Though it seems similar, they both are meant to serve two different purposes.

Unavailability of a specific URL might or might not impact the end-user. From an Infrastructure monitoring perspective, it is still critical that the DevOps team start to work on bringing the URL back but from the end-user viewpoint, the service is still getting served.

Freshstatus is meant to communicate service disruptions to your end-user, wherein Freshping is more a monitoring solution. I hope this clarifies.

Though I say this, I see your point and the need to build a strong Event correlation and tighter integration between Freshping and Freshstatus, which we certainly have in our mind.

Best,
Kalyan
