# How to achieve maximum security?

Both the name Android and Nexus One refer to Philip K. Dick's novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?", which was later adapted into the film Blade Runner.

Both the book and the movie focus on a group of androids called replicants of the Nexus-6 model. The logo is the robot.

Android began in October 2008 when the first smartphone equipped with this operating system, the T-Mobile G1, a smartphone manufactured by HTC and developed together with Google, first saw the light.
