Google search has been like a tried and trusted, loyal friend to us, for at least the past 25 years. It now sees it dominance very much challenged by the likes of ChatGPT and Deepseek.
ChatGPT Search can't yet provide images, charts, and graphs, but they are 'on the horizon'. Also, current availability is limited to users who conduct over 100 searches per month and tend to be Pro users. Finally, searches can take anywhere between 5 minutes to above 30 minutes.
In its favour it can provide deep data pulled from many sources, which are thoroughly analysed thereby eliciting a stronger, more meaningful response. You will also know where the information sources are or are referenced to. Google can't match this.
The question is..........
Would you be able to wait longer for a more comprehensive answer (ChatGPT Deep search), or are you so accustomed now to having answers in seconds (Google search)?
