# Can you tell me, why the need to include so much information in a citation?

i understand that you have to include your bibliography but it seems to much information that the one who is going to read your text won´t look for.

I just want to report reference according to APA 7th edition and  the in text citation in 
narrative style example  
Abubakar (2013)
but in Zotero software the citation report only in paranthesis style
Example  (Abubakar,2013)

the field is there just in case we (author, the one who cite) have the info. Not all field are compulsory.. 

My way.. I'd normally find the items isbn or doi.. then add the item in zotero.. less typing needed. 

Another (longer, but still less typing) way.. find the ref online.. then download the bib file, them upload the bib file into zotero. 

p/s: I still prefer doi /(^_^)
