# Can you make it more stable even if the network connection is unavailable?

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (2019.012.20040) hangs when I try to open a document if there is no Internet connection.  I have to use Foxit Reader as a work around.

I am a macOS user.  My document is on my local drive.  I am not using Adobe Cloud.

Unless the document is saved in the Adobe Cloud that's probably why it doesn't let you open it. Try to save the document on the computer so it is not on a cloud and you can open it without internet connection.
