Hi G2 User,

I’m a research analyst at G2. Thanks for your question.

PowerPoint supports animations for text, pictures, shapes or other objects on a slide. To animate an object:
1) Select the object you want to animate.
2) Click the “Animations” tab on the menu bar.
3) Choose an animation effect.
Your object should now be animated when you play the presentation. More detailed instructions for different operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.) are available from Microsoft here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/animate-text-or-objects-305a1c94-83b1-4778-8df5-fcf7a9b7b7c6#OfficeVersion=Windows.

Hope that helps!

Best,
Shaun
