# Can you add Giffs to slides?

Some much is done online nowadays that some stuff would be useful like gifs

You can add a GIF to a PowerPoint slide in the same way you would add any other picture. Select the slide that you want to add the animated GIF to. In the Insert tab of the ribbon, click Pictures. In the Insert Picture dialog box, go to the location of the animated GIF you want to add. Select the file, and then click Insert or Open.
