# Can we install DCM into an on-premise instance?

Yes, but in order to obtain apps from the store the on-prem:
1. instance must be registered with ServiceNow HI CMDB, 
2. the app purchaser must have HI credentials, 
3. and access must be open to servicenow.com and service-now.com domains via https.
