# Can JAMS convert my existing batch jobs?

JAMS  has some conversion utilities, but not for batch files; however the conversion is quite simple.
just create a new  JAMS JOB, with a source option of COMMAND and import / load the source for the job from the batch file.  then edit as needed.  on the JAMS JOB definition there is a parameters tab, where you can create parameter names like FROM_DATE, which can be populted from a JAMS Variable that is either pre-defined or user definded.  Then Source tab replace the date or date prompt used with &lt;&lt;FROM_DATE&gt;&gt;.  When JAMS submits the job the values are passed in and &lt;&lt;FROM_DATE&gt;&gt; is replaced with the value passed in.  I used dates, but you could set up for different servers and folder paths

Yes. Conversion utilities for Windows Task Scheduler, SQL Server Agent, and Cron are included with JAMS.
