# can i use visual studio with mysql database? is it the best compatibility

because i always use mssql in visual studio and i never use mysql yet with visual studio.. and i want to know what is more compatible for it

Yes, you can go ahead, MS Visual Studio is efficiently compatible with both MSSql and Mysql.

You can use many database including MySQL along with VS , but Microsoft SQL server is the most compitable DB.

Yes, you can definitely use mysql with vscode! I&#39;m most-familiar in using mysql with back-end Web dev, and to use it I include Node Packages (NPM) with a &quot;require&quot; call in server scripts, and an install on the command line (&quot;npm install mysql&quot;). There is a lot of documentation on this in Stackoverflow as well.
