# Can I use Abacus to create custom reports?

Is it possible to create custom reports in Abacus to see expenses by project team split by category?

Abacus works like a search engine - cataloging every expense individually. This means that you can create a report by using any combination of expense and team fields. You can also create reports from un-approved or approved expenses, as well as reimbursable and non-reimbursable. This is a great way to report on how your company is spending money.
