# Can I have what I put in my Microsoft Account show up in Google Calendar and vice versa? If so, how?

I use either a written journal planner, the calendar on my laptop (running via my Microsoft Account), or the Google Calendar, mostly on my phone, depending on what is most accessible to me at the time. I do not always have my computer accessible and if I am not expecting any phone calls, I try to keep my phone turned off to prevent from being hooked to technology any more than I already am. Therefore, I do not always have access to both online calendars. I want to be able to put events into my phone via Google Calendar and have it show up easily on my computer with my Microsoft Account

I have not used Microsoft calendar recently but check if you are able to export the calendar setting preferably in URL form (iCal format). You can then import iCal format into Google Calendar.

Because I have Outlook for work and GOOGLE calendar for personal, adding an event in Google is a bit more challenging, but once done and a habit its easy.   Open Outlook, add your event, then SELECT the calendar you want the event logged.  If you log right to google calender it will show up in outlook, I don't know why.  So, for ME, I add via Outlook, put in my info, then select my google calander. HTH!
