# Can i choose what format to download files?

various file formats are uploaded to BIM360. the universal format in my opinion, NWD, can always be created, but is not always an option to download as if the file was originally another format. these are esential with subcontractor use within their other programs like revit, AutoCAD, etc..

Files are downloaded in the format in which they exist on BIM 360. If multiple files are downloaded they download as a .zip
