# Can HOLO manage supplier compliance documents and expirations automatically?

A common question from procurement and compliance teams evaluating HOLO: how does the platform handle supplier documentation at scale?

HOLO SLM includes a supplier portal with self-registration where each vendor uploads their own documentation (tax records, insurance policies, certifications, contracts). AI-based validation reads each document, checks it against the configured requirements, and flags inconsistencies before a human ever touches it. Expiration dates are tracked automatically: the supplier and the internal owner receive alerts before a document lapses, and non-compliant suppliers can be blocked from new purchase orders until they regularize.

This typically replaces shared drives and spreadsheet trackers for organizations managing 100+ active suppliers across several countries.

Happy to answer follow-up questions from anyone evaluating this use case — especially around multi-country compliance requirements in Latin America.
