# Can developers use ProdPerfect to test on feature branches before merging to staging/QA?

In short, it depends how your pipeline is set up, but generally yes. ProdPerfect deploys end to end test suites, so you’ll need some form of stable environment to spin up for testing. You can do this during a pull request before the merge to a higher-level branch; often, using an ephemeral testing environment such as Heroku Review Apps is the way to do this as part of an automated deployment. If you have static pre-production environments, you can run ProdPerfect on developer environments as a pre-merge test.
