# Can a survey response trigger a campaign in Braze or Iterable?

We want survey responses to actually drive campaigns, not just sit in a dashboard. For example, an NPS detractor should land in a retention canvas automatically. Trying to figure out how Iterate makes that loop work.

Yes. Iterate sends survey responses back to Braze and Iterable in real time as user attributes set on the respondent's profile and as custom events. An NPS detractor score can trigger a Braze retention canvas. A positive feature-satisfaction response can move a user into an upsell segment or update personalization in an Iterable campaign. Survey data and campaign data share the same user profile, with no export step in between. You can even choose the name of the custom user attribute for each question, and choose which questions to send individually.
