# Brave have removed Bing search from it

Brave have removed the Bing API in its browser because:

- Bing API is a thing that lets Brave use Bing's search results.
- Bing API became too expensive for Brave to use. Microsoft made it cost more money for others to use it.
- Brave wanted to use its own search results. Brave has its own thing that makes search results. It does not need Bing's thing anymore.
