# Best e-mail marketing solution?

What have you found to be the best e-mail marketing package?  I have use mail-chimp but have not used any others.

I'm a big fan of Emma (myemma.com). Very similar to mailchimp in a lot of ways, yet more enterprise friendly.

With the prices of marketing automation vendors having fallen in the recent past, you may be able to make the business case that it's actually more cost-effective to move from a pure email marketing tool and switch to marketing automation, which has email marketing baked-in.  Pardot is a good low-cost solution that could work for you.

Hello Mark, 

I've worked with ExactTarget, Emailvision, Mailchimp and inhouse solutions. I've overlooked deeply other solutions like SPLIO or Campaing Monitor. 

I can tell you that there's not a best e-mail marketing solution. There'a a best one that adapts to your needs in your company. 

For instance/example, if you've got a html designer, you don't need to work with a WYSIWG editor, and viceversa. 

To administrate the DB is easier or more complex depending on your needs, Wich DB do you manage 10.000? 100.000? 1.000.000? is this semegmented? To deal with this is another need you'll have to consider, and this is the KEY to your success.

I have not dealt with them personally, but perhaps you could check into Constant Contact.  I have been a customer of some who have used their service...and have heard them advertised.
