When our site got close to exceeding our disk space, we received regular emails. That gave us time to decide whether to clean up or add more space. (We did both.) Miva tech support was super fast and responsive when I contacted them.

If you go over your allotted space, we do have minor overage charges of $2 per GB of transfer, and $2 per 100MB of storage.
