# BackEnd Comaptibility & Standalone IDE

I would like to know is there any backend database compatibility except  using data from salesforce/Dynamic CRM?
Instead of working on cloud IDE enviroument is there any work going on for making it standalone like Visual Studio (Added with intelligence)

Instead of portal is there possibility of making web applications with huge database backend?

Magentrix can be used in a standalone environment (non-CRM) for building cloud apps with a SQL database. Our IDE is cloud based using a .Net and MVC framework but no integration with Visual Studio.
