# At Edit Tools - to save space on the diagrams, how can I place the text on top of certain items ?

Hi Christopher

We don't have the option at present to allow users to add text onto the 3D objects in the floor plans.  You can use the text tool to place text on the floor beside the object but not on the object itself.  This may be something our team will add at a later stage to the builder but right now the best option is to use the text tool. 

You can edit the size of the text to save space in your plans.
