# Are you using HubSpot as an HR tool as well as a CRM?

We are currently using HubSpot for recruiting and onboarding but it seems to meddle our data when job candidates get into the CRM. How have you found ways around this?

Hello Andrea! I use HubSpot heavily in our recruiting. We're also a HubSpot Partner agency, so our use of HubSpot for HR would likely be very similar to your needs. I gave a talk on this recently to a local HR group and would be happy to share tips and insights with you if you'd like!

Just re-read your question. In what way is it meddling with your data when a new applicant gets in there? I presume you mean when you add a new candidate into HubSpot? Do you have rules about the lifecycle stages or workflows to manage new contacts?
