# are there any other platforms that are similar that may be a bit more affordable? and does Spruce actually have a number to call so when having technical problems I can speak to a live rep?

Spruce is a robust medical communication platform so it's tricky to compare pricing with other solutions. Depending on what you are seeking, there may be services that can address your specific need at a price point that feels more comfortable to you!

With respect to the second part of this question, we handle most support questions successfully over our own messaging platform in-app. Should you need additional help or we can’t solve your challenge there, we will schedule a time to get on a call with you or screen share depending on the problem. We also have extensive videos and help articles we can send to you, depending on the issues you are facing. In fact we use our own product’s Saved Message feature for this very task!
