# Apollo.io Enterprise plan and contract lock in: how did you avoid getting stuck?

Using Apollo.io for months, I didn’t find any upside and felt pushed into an Enterprise plan as a small team, even though Pro would have worked. Once under contract, it felt like there was no way out, and upgrades made during the term had to be kept, which wasn’t clearly stated. Support interactions also felt unhelpful and led to a bank dispute after losing significant time and money. If you’ve used Apollo.io, how did plan selection, contracts, and upgrades work for you, and what would you do differently?
